Charity Partners / Fundraisers

TU Dublin SU Charity of the Year 2026–27
Each year, TU Dublin Students Union (SU) proudly selects a different charity partner through a vote by the TU Dublin SU Student Council. This democratic process allows our student body to choose the cause that resonates most with them.
Once the charity partner is chosen, the SU is dedicated to organising a variety of RAG (Raise Awareness & Give) fundraising events and activities throughout the year, aiming to raise substantial funds and awareness for our partner. From fun runs and bake sales to charity concerts and raffles, the SU strives to engage the entire university community in fundraising efforts.
For the 2026–27 academic year, we are honoured to announce our new charity partner: The ISPCC

About ISPCC
The ISPCC exist to protect childhood and ensure every child in Ireland has the opportunity to live a Better, Happier, Safer life.
Childhood is changing, fast. From rising levels of anxiety and loneliness to the complex pressures of growing up in a digital-first world, children today face challenges that demand new kinds of support. That’s why they’ve evolved too.
They’re there for every child, for any reason, at any time. Whether through our 24/7 Childline service, in-person therapeutic supports, or innovative digital mental health programmes, they meet children where they are online, in their communities, and in their schools. Their services are designed to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and empower children to reach their full potential.
They don’t just listen, we act. Guided by the voices of children and young people, they advocate for meaningful change, challenge harmful norms, and develop cutting-edge solutions like GroSafe and nLight to protect children from online threats.
Their mission is clear: to reach every child in Ireland and make a measurable impact on their lives. Because every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard.
