What is a Part-Time Officer?

Part-time Officer Elections

The Part-time Officers are current students of TU Dublin and remain students for the duration of their term in office. These positions are taken up on a part-time basis alongside the students studies. 

These are paid positions where the officeholder will normally work up to 6 hours per week, and they are paid according to the living wage guidelines, which are currently €14.80 per hour. 

1 Year Term of Office – July 1st, 2025, to June 30th, 2026

What Will You Do as a Part-Time Officer?

Represent Student Interests: Advocate for specific groups, such as mature students, international students, or students with disabilities.
Collaborate on Campaigns: Work with the Student Union to create and run campaigns focused on your area of responsibility.
Attend Meetings: Participate in council and committee meetings, providing insight and feedback from your perspective.
Organize Events: Plan and execute events and initiatives that support your designated group or issue.
Be a Voice for Change: Help shape university policies that impact the wider student body.
