International Students Campaign
Settling in as an International Student
Helpful Tips:
Accommodation: If you’re looking for accommodation your first stop should be our accommodation guide and Student Pad which is a site specifically for TU Dublin students.
Travel:Student and Young Adult Leap Cards entitle you to cheaper travel and any TU Student can apply online and have it printed in TUDSU+ (Grangegorman)
Community: Finding people to connect with is so important. TU Dublin has a variety of societies, sports teams and opportunities to volunteer. You can get involved with the SU too. Think about reaching out to your local chaplaincy office to see what International Student events they have planned.
Student Services: TU Dublin Student Hubs can help with practical things like registration, getting your student card, and stamping forms.
Bank Accounts: You may need to open an Irish bank account while you’re here. The main Irish Banks are Allied Irish Bank (AIB), Permanent TSB and Bank of Ireland (BOI). You can also set up an online Irish Revolut account.
International Office: TU Dublin has a dedicated team specifically to support International Students. Their general contact is international@tudublin.ie
