Fluent Irish Presenters for Radio - Volunteer Position

  • Dublin City FM are looking for fluent Irish speakers to present programmes on our Special Interest & Community radio station. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about radio and looking to get into broadcasting.
  • Previous Irish-language programmes have covered various interests, from music, art & culture, news & current affairs and sports.
  • Dublin City FM are
    • committed to representing all the diverse communities in our city.
    • a volunteer-led station and can provide training for those with no previous broadcasting experience.
    • looking for a minimum commitment of three months, in fact some of our volunteers have been with us for 25 years, while others have gone on to positions in commercial stations!
    • looking for Sport Presenters: we’re looking for people who are passionate about sports and are regularly engaged with teams and individuals. We have reporters out on the field and in studio covering big games and minority sports.
    • looking for Cultural & Special Interest Presenters: there’s so much happening in our city that we would love to cover, from the vibrant music and arts scene, to tech and business. We’re looking for someone to share their passions with our radio listeners.

 

 

Dublin City FM has been on the air and informing and entertaining the greater Dublin area for 25 years.

Dublin City FM first broadcast as Anna Livia FM in 1992 from studios in Grafton Street.

We are based in East Wall, Dublin 3.
