Hours: 8.30am to 5.15pm, Monday to Friday

MJF Interiors is a leading furniture supplier and contract fit-out partner to the commercial interiors industry. We partner with architects, designers, and furniture manufacturers to create spaces that work for some of the world’s most renowned businesses. We have a summer contract available for a warehouse operative position to operate the MJF Interiors section of a shared warehouse in Baldonnell.
The MJF Interiors section provides the warehousing requirements for high-end commercial furniture. The role primarily reports to the Logistics Manager but since this is a section of a warehouse, also reports to the overall Warehouse Manager on matters relating to Warehouse health and safety.

Tasks/responsibilities
• Operating the warehouse.
• Handling inbound stock.
• Stock placement and storage.
• Stock checking.
• Updating of schedules.
• Retrieving stock items at short notice in a systematic way.
• Maintaining a good knowledge of stock within the section.
• Housekeeping to ensure a tidy and safe environment.
• Carrying out operations in a safe way in line with health and safety requirements.
• Continuous improvement.

Experience
• Previous experience in dealing with a sales team would be an advantage.
• Forklift training will be given where required.
Other Own transport is necessary due to the location.
The post holder will be expected on occasion to stay past the normal finishing time to take in deliveries or attend to outbound deliveries.
